Usage GuideMeterological office rain gauge measures are made to the design used by the MO for rainfall measurement. They have a tapered base section for more accurate measurement of small amounts of precipitation. They are also calibrated to Class A accuracy and serial numbered for traceability. The tolerances on the tapered section are 0.02ml for accurate reading of low volumes. |
